I always love the little repeating designs! And why not make them Halloween themed! I made some little spooky headstones and I love how they turned out. I was trying to give the graveyard feel without doing the full scenery. Let me know what vibes you get from these!
Continue reading to see how I made this design!
For this design, I used a detail nail art brush, a makeup sponge, a dotting tool, and the following polish
Royal Blue: China Glaze “I Sea the Point”
Navy: Color Club “Made in the USA”
Black: Sinful Colors “ Black On Black”
Grey: OPI “Cement the Deal”
And of course my current favorite quick dry top coat “Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat" by SuperChic Lacquer. How to:
I first started with a layer of China Glaze “I Sea the Point” followed by a layer of quick dry top coat.
Once that was dry, I took my makeup sponge and evenly painted the China Glaze, Color Club, and Sinful Colors. I lightly dabbed onto my nail doing thin coats allowing for the colors to blend better. Once it was to the opacity I liked, I topped it off with another layer of quick dry top coat.
Next, I took the dotting tool and OPI “Cement the Deal” and placed a dot where I wanted the top of the head stone to be. Then, I took the detail brush and squared off the bottom of the dot to make the headstone shape. Using the same detail brush and Sinful Colors “Black On Black,” i painted the crosses on the head stones. Lastly, I sealed everything in with a final layer of quick dry top coat.
Tell me what you think!
