Ripped Jeans
I tried to make these look like acid-washed ripped jeans. I think they look pretty good and abstract!
Trying to figure out how to achieve this look without drawing it out was more difficult. I tried out a few other techniques before deciding on this one, but I love how they turned out!

For this design, I used a small nail art brush and the following polish:
Silver holo: Color Club “Harp On It”
Light blue: Color Club “Route 66”
Denim blue: Urban Outfitters No Name Blue
And of course, my current favorite quick dry top coat "Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat" by SuperChic Lacquer.

How To:
This design is very simple and does not require much skill. I am not very good at free handing and that is exactly what I love about this design.
I first painted two coats of Color Club “Route 66.” I allowed it to dry a bit so the colors do not transfer onto the other polish brushes.
Using the denim blue, I used the dry brush technique. This allowed me to get some of the color onto my nail without creating a uniform design. Each nail has different stroke marks similar to the dye in your jeans.
Next, I took the Color Club “Harp On It” and the small nail art brush with very little polish to create the rips. I lightly stroked back and forth with some parts longer than others.
Finally, I applied a layer of quick dry top coat to seal everything in.

Tell me what you think!
