I really over how these neons pop! And make my skin look super tan. This design is definitely a little more edgy than what I usually do but I’m feeling it.
For this design, I used striping tape and he following polish:
Hot pink: Color Club “Youthquake”
Yellow: Color Club “Psychedelic Scene”
White: Sally Hansen “White On”
Coral: Sally Hansen “Giant Peach”
And of course, my current favorite quick dry top coat by Seche Vite.
First, I painted 2 layers of Sally Hansen “Giant Peach” and applied a layer of quick dry top coat. Next, I used the striping tape and applied two pieces to form the X. Next I used the dry brush technique for the remaining polishes. I used them in the following order: Sally Hansen “White On”, Color Club “Psychadellic Scene”, Color Club “Youthquake”. This step has to be done fairly quick because you don’t want the polish to dry before you remove the striping tape. If it does dry, you polish will not have clean lines and can pull up with the tape. Once the striping tape has been removed, I applied one last layer of quick dry top coat.
Tell me what you think!
