Oh hello Rudolph! I love how you look on my nail! I tried to do one of the mix and match, Christmas sweater inspired designs. Now I’m not that good at freehanding so Rudolph is a little lopsided but he is still looking good.
For this design, I used a small nail art brush, a large dotting tool, black acrylic paint and the following polishes:
Red: OPI“5 Apples Tall”
Grey: OPI “Haven’t the Foggiest”
White: Sally Hansen “White On”
and, of course, my current favorite quick dry top coat by Seche Vite.
First, I painted a base color for all the nails marking my ring and middle finger the two accent nails. For the polka dot one, I took the Sally Hansen “White On” and a large sitting tool to put on top of the OPI “Haven’t the Foggiest.” For the Rudolph nail, I took a small nail art brush and the black acrylic paint to draw the sillotte of his head. Before painting, I made sure to add a top coat to make the painting smoother. To make Rudolph, I painted an inverted pear shape for the head, then added some antlers. Next, I used the dotting tool and OPI“5 Apples Tall”. Finally, another lay of quick dry top coat to finish it.
Tell me what you think!
