Once thing I love about fall is the colors. Everything is a little deeper in colors and more rustic. Here is a simple fall color inspired design for the last few days of November. Isn't it crazy that its already almost the end of this year?
For this design, I used nail vinyls from Twinkled T and the following polish
Gold: Color Club "24° Below"
Maroon: Mica "Cherry"
and, of course, my current favorite quick dry top coat by Seche Vite.
First I painted my nails using the base color of Mica "Cherry." I apply a layer of quick dry top coat and allow it to dry for 15-20 minutes. This is one of the most important steps when using nail vinyls. The chemical in the top coat does not stick the the nail vinyls the way polish does. If you use nail vinyls without a top coat (does not have to be quick dry, but you would have to wait longer to apply), the vinyls with lift the polish off your nail when you try to remove them. Once the top coat is dry enough, I applied the nail vinyls. I did a coat of Color Club "24° Below" and then quickly removed the vinyls (do not allow the polish to dry when removing nail vinyls so you end up with clean lines). Finally, another lay of quick dry top coat to finish it.
Tell me what you think!
