Skulls

Updated: Aug 6, 2019

First time using a stamper!... and I did the design upside down, of course. Oh well, better luck next time. I love this stamping plate because it is it has so many different Halloween designs. These skulls were the ones I liked the most and had to try first.

For this design, I used this ejiubas stamping plate and the following polish

Grey: OPI "Haven't the Foggiest"

White: Sally Hansen "White On"

Red: Urban Outfitters "Broke"

and, of course, my current favorite quick dry top coat by Seche Vite.

First, I started with a base Sally Hansen "White On" coat. Next, I used the stamping plate and OPI "Haven't the Foggiest" for the background the design then Urban Outfitters "Broke" for the skulls. Stamping is definitely a skill that needs practice to achieve. You need to find the right polish that will pick up on the stamper (for example, stamping polishes like this one). It is important to swipe using a card at a 45 degree angle to get the right amount of polish to stay on the plate, then immediately pick it up with the stamp. Finally, a layer of quick dry top coat to top it off.

Tell me what you think!
