For this design I used a small nail art brush, a large dotting tool, a latex free makeup sponge, and the following polish:
Black: Mica "Black"
Green: China Glaze "Treble Maker"
Yellow: Color Club “Psychedelic Scene” and, of course, my current favorite quick dry top coat by Seche Vite.
First, I did the gradient for the eye color. I did a circular gradient with the center being Color Club “Psychedelic Scene” and China Glaze "Treble Maker" for the outer edges. (remember: a number of thin layers!) After they were opaque enough, I did a layer of quick dry top coat. Next I used the nail art brush to draw the eye shape. After the outside is filled in, I drew a line for to give it the look of an eye. Lastly, a small dot to give the eye a glare. Finally, a layer of quick dry top coat to top it off.
Tell me what you think!
