NEONS! and a little bit of holo. This design is something to spice up your classic white nails. You still get the clean look of the white nails while having a color pop and a little sparkling rainbows.
For this design, I used Twinkled T's half circle vinyls, a small nail art brush and the following polish:
Green: Color Club "Under the Blacklight"
Coral: Color Club "Youthquake"
Gold Holo: Color Club "Cherubic"
White: Sally Hansen "White On"
and of course, my current quick dry top coat by Seche Vite.
First, I painted the base white onto my nails and applied a quick dry top coat for the nail vinyls. Whenever you add nail vinyls, you HAVE to apply a top coat first. When you add a top coat, the nail vinyl will peel off cleanly not removing any polish if allowed enough time to dry. If you use nail vinyls without a top coat even giving the polish time to dry, it will still remove the polish from you nail. The chemicals in the top coat make it so the vinyl does not stick as much as the nail polish. With the vinyls on, I painted the Color Club "Cherubic" on to the part I sectioned off. Like striping tape, you want to remove the nail vinyl quickly, before the fresh polish has time to dry. After removing the nail vinyls, I used the small nail art brush and freehanded the Color Club "Youthquake" and Color Club "Under the Blacklight" outlines. Finally, one last quick dry top coat to seal everything in.
Tell me what you think!
